The Western Colorado Contractors Association is pleased to announce
that it will feature a booth in the 2010 Mesa County Safety Fair
at Mesa Mall on February 11 & 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both
days. School teachers from around the Grand Valley will bring
their students to learn about safety in a fun environment.
The
Western Colorado Contractors Associations booth will be
set up to resemble a construction site courtesy of Your Way Sign
and Safety Supply, Inc., and provided information about safety
in
and around a construction site/zone,
and included information about why jobsites
are not a place for kids to play.
WCCA
provided a few goodies for the kids, including hard hats provided
by Grand Valley National Bank and hard hat stickers provided by
WCCA. A Mini Excavator provided by Wagner Rents was onsite
for the kids to get into and experience what it is
like to be in a piece of construction equipment.
This feature of the Safety Fair is always
a huge hit among the children.
